Hey, Earthquake!

Image
At any time an earthquake might strike us without any warning. No single individual could stop an inevitable disaster. All we could do is to prevent and have a knowledge about preparedness and vigilance.   National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill by the government is always conducted every year. As I have noticed, only few people is taking the activity seriously. Is the "duck, cover and hold" enough for them to save their lives? How would they act in case an earthquake would hit them? I guess, have a chit-chat with a companion first rather than being vigilant.  It is really important to participate, even in a simple preparedness plan or at least have a knowledge on how to act and respond to disasters. I suggest to have a cooperation and not to be a burden, of course, excluding the ones with disabilities and illnesses.

Filipino worker getting their Christmas bonus, children happily playing with their new toys and friends, some are lonely celebrating, streets are filled with Christmas lights and street children caroling. But who thought that the year we anticipated to be a beautiful and full of prosperity became catastrophic?   March 2020 when we, students, are still learning at school, playing with friends, and waiting for the last examination and then suddenly, we are forced not to go back to school, same as the adults working. The reason? COVID-19. It was discovered last 2019 but it is still not that serious, at least for me, but the transmission went all around the world. It caused millions of people to suffer, majority of the people suffered from the virus, some unfortunately did not survive, some are still recovering, doctors and nurses are exhausted, workers forced to stop their job, i...
