A Loving Woman

Image
Celebrated every year on the second Sunday of May, this one day commemorates the spirit and overwhelming contribution of a mother to a family and to her children. It is an occasion for kids, children and adults alike to stand back, pause and introspect on the gift of absolute love they have continually received from the source of their very sustenance and to show their appreciation and respect and love for that one person who have been there for them, under all circumstances.    A mother works round the clock to keep her family nourished, nurtured and cared for.    They always say that women are inferior to men, when in fact, men and women are all equal. Women are always expected to dress properly, act feminine, and caring, women are expected to be housewives, women cannot be doctors, pilots, construction worker, or a leader, and expected to be dramatic unlike men that is supposed to be bold. These are examples of stereotypes created by the society, completely unfair and biased, and can cause inequality among men and women.   Back in the days, men are more superior than women, neglecting the roles of women in society, believing that women are slaves, and this is known as misogyny. Misogynistic people are equally worse as criminals, abusing and taking advantage of them, such as sexual and physical assault. It’s undeniably horrible to women whom experienced these maltreatments. And as days, months, years, decades passed by, women started to fight for their rights, letting their emotions pierce through oppressors, using their voic...
