Faith

At the end of the year 2019, we are all still happy and celebrating for the new upcoming year. Filipino worker getting their Christmas bonus, children happily playing with their new toys and friends, some are lonely celebrating, streets are filled with Christmas lights and street children caroling. But who thought that the year we anticipated to be a beautiful and full of prosperity became catastrophic?

March 2020 when we, students, are still learning at school, playing with friends, and waiting for the last examination and then suddenly, we are forced not to go back to school, same as the adults working. The reason? COVID-19. It was discovered last 2019 but it is still not that serious, at least for me, but the transmission went all around the world. It caused millions of people to suffer, majority of the people suffered from the virus, some unfortunately did not survive, some are still recovering, doctors and nurses are exhausted, workers forced to stop their job, including the schools and other institutions, economy rate went low and not to mention, the natural disasters occurred right before the virus was introduced.

Some Filipinos remained undisciplined and continues to break the rules causing an increase number of cases here in our country. But thankfully, majority has still a functioning brain and heart and remains faithful to the Lord, praying for the human saviors, affected ones, those who passed away and praying that this issue would go away soon. We are all human and it is normal to experience these inevitable events and the only way for us to do is to have faith in humanity and to God.

  1. I couldn't agree more that having faith in humanity and God in times of crisis is a must. Despite the foul doings of humanity, such as absence of coordination and cooperation, we must still have faith that we would be able to get through inevitable events. We must continue doing the right things and hopefully we would inspire other people to do the same. Let us all have faith in humanity and in God. God bless!
